The Divers Boat is an SSI International Diving Centre based at Mae Haad, Koh Tao’s main port. Founded in 2016, it has delivered several thousand SSI certifications and works with divers of every level, from complete beginners to experienced professionals.
The centre teaches SSI courses, with the Open Water certification completed in two days, and runs certified fun dives to the sites around Koh Tao. Unlike centres that mix courses and fun divers on the same boat, The Divers Boat runs its own fleet with each boat assigned a clear purpose, and departs later in the day than most operators so divers reach the sites after the main crowds.
Groups are kept small, with every diver guided through each stage of the day, and lunch is included on trips. The centre also runs boats from Koh Phangan, including day trips to Sail Rock.
