Roctopus Dive is a medium-sized dive centre in the middle of Sairee Beach, established in 2011. It is primarily a RAID training centre, with SSI and PADI options available on request, and is known for small group sizes and an active, community-focused team of instructors.
Courses run from the three-day Open Water certification through Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor development, alongside daily fun dives, night dives and specialty courses. Confined training takes place in a purpose-built pool, and the centre operates its own boats to the sites around Koh Tao.
Roctopus is closely involved in marine conservation, running regular beach and dive clean-ups and offering one-week, two-week and month-long conservation programmes as well as longer eco internships. The centre helped build and maintains one of the island’s most visited artificial reefs. A beachside bar, retail shop and accommodation options are attached to the dive school.
