Koh Tao Divers, also known as KTD, is the oldest dive centre on Koh Tao, teaching scuba diving and leading fun dives on the island since 1987. First based in Mae Haad, it has occupied a beachfront location on south Sairee Beach for over two decades.
The centre teaches SSI courses across more than 50 options, from beginner certifications through to technical and closed-circuit rebreather diving, and is the leading centre for extended-range and technical certifications in Thailand. Two daily fun diving trips run to the main sites around the island for certified divers.
Much of the early exploration of Koh Tao’s dive sites was carried out by KTD divers, and the centre continues to combine that long experience with SSI professional training up to instructor level. Its beachfront base gives direct access to the water and to the shops and restaurants of Sairee.
