Crystal Dive Resort is one of the longest-established dive schools on Koh Tao, based right on Mae Haad beach a short walk from the main arrival pier. Operating for more than 25 years, it is an award-winning PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre and an SSI Diamond Training Centre, with over 100,000 divers trained in the waters around the island.
The school offers the full range of PADI and SSI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through to Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor level, along with the full set of specialty courses, technical training and eco courses. Confined sessions take place in one of three custom-built swimming pools, and the centre runs daily wreck trips to the HTMS Sattakut, a former Royal Thai Navy vessel sunk in 2011.
The beachfront resort functions as a self-contained campus, with a Thai restaurant, beach bar, free WiFi and accommodation ranging from backpacker rooms to hillside villas.
