Lotus Beach Restaurant – Thai & Seafood Restaurant on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao
Lotus Beach Bar & Restaurant sits at the north end of Sairee Beach, one of the most recognizable spots on the strip. Part of the Lotus Paradise Resort, the venue combines a full restaurant menu with a beachfront bar, bean bags on the sand and a nightly fire show that has made it one of the most visited addresses on Koh Tao’s beach road.
The menu covers Thai classics and Western dishes alongside fresh seafood, fruit shakes, fresh juices and a full cocktail list. Pad Thai, green curry, cashew chicken and panang curry are regular favorites, and the kitchen accommodates dietary preferences including gluten-free options on request. The setting runs from casual lunch to relaxed evening dining, with tables directly on the sand offering unobstructed views of the Gulf of Thailand.
As the sun goes down, Lotus comes into its own. The nightly fire show draws a crowd along the beach, with skilled fire spinners, baton throwing, audience participation and fire limbo. Tables fill up fast around sunset and early evening, so arriving early is advisable for beach seating.
The resort also has a swimming pool, spa and dive center for those making a full day of it.
