FIZZ Beach Club – Beach Bar & Restaurant on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao
FIZZ Beach Club, formerly known as Fizz Beachlounge, sits at the northern end of Sairee Beach and has been a favorite gathering place for travellers and locals alike since it opened in 2007. Known simply as « Fizz » among the local community, it blends bar, restaurant and lounge into one relaxed beachfront space, with restaurant seating indoors, a breezy wooden deck, and colorful oversized bean bags right on the sand.
The cocktail menu is built entirely around premium spirits, with house creations like the Electric Fizz, Perfect Passion and Espresso Martini alongside a wine list, mocktails, shakes and fresh juices. The kitchen offers a contemporary international menu that runs from Thai classics like laab and massaman curry to Western dishes such as tuna steak and cottage pie, with a strong range of vegetarian and vegan options including spiced tomato and pumpkin stews and vegan bowls.
Music is central to the Fizz experience. A DJ booth sits front and center facing the ocean, with resident and guest DJs spinning house, reggae, funk, disco and chilled beach house — loud enough to lose yourself in, but never so loud you can’t hold a conversation. Happy hour runs in the late afternoon, making it one of the most popular sunset spots on the island.
